This was my first time going and it definitely won’t be my last. From the fresh fish and crispy batter to the great service from the owner, this place is absolutely phenomenal. The portions are astronomical and I found myself having to unbuckle my belt in order to finish. I’d definitely recommend as this is superb value for money.

Super impressed with this place. I don’t have fish and chips very often and it’s usually a disappointment in London. However this was like fish and chips I remember from my childhood. Fish tasted very fresh (if it was frozen, it fooled me). Generous portions. Very friendly. Great value too. Will 100% go back here.

Literally the most delicious fish and chips, recommend the haddock, was super fresh and that batter 👌🏽 Got a small and the portion was pretty big (was going to get a large but they warned me) lovely, honest people and great value for money. Peace and love

Crispy nice batter (not those usual saltless bland!!!) , Fresh fish, generous portion and oh my my ...amazing people. Loved Gul, the lady who took care of our order. We ordered three medium cod and she even chipped in a small portion of extra fish. Being a self-claimed fish n chips expert, I definitely recommend this place.

This is the best chippy in north London and thankfully near my workplace. The family that run it are super friendly and the food is top notch. The ‘small’ cod is huge and the batter lovely and crispy. The addition of lemon pepper on the chips is a bonus, I don’t know of any other chippys that serve this. Thanks Old Captain, see you again soon x

Popped in here before attending a show at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The chips were delicious, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Great service and seating if required. Would highly recommend popping in if you’re in the area.
